An Evening of Deception – A Great Success

So all the Evening of Deception shows at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham are at an end now, it’s been a fabulous run and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

I was lucky enough to be working alongside some of the best stage magicians in the industry: Steve Knibbs, Peter Clifford and my good friend Andi Gladwin who amazed everyone with his new act! All five shows sold out pretty quickly and it was great to see so many people turn out for some fabulous live magical entertainment and what amazing audiences you were!!!!

Thanks so much to everyone that came and also to Paul Duggan, our excellent stage manager and to Corin Hayes who was just fab on lights and sound!!!

Hope to see you all there next year.

Birthday Party Magician in Cheltenham

On Friday evening I had the pleasure of being the Party Magician at The Montpellier Chapter hotel in Cheltenham at a birthday party, the birthday girl and the guests were absolutely lovely. I performed a mixture of card tricks, rope illusions and mind reading magic, and even though I say so myself a good night was had by all.

Thank you Charlotte for asking me to be a part of your celebrations and I hope you had a wonderful birthday.

Birthday Party Magician in York

Last weekend I battled through the sudden snow storms to perform as a Party Magician at an intimate dinner party to celebrate Lynda’s birthday at the Middlethorpe Hall in York. Wow what an amazing venue to have a dinner party! Lynda’s guests were a lot of fun, especially Alan who was a great sport and let me teach him a card trick which he performed to the group very well.

Here’s a lovely quote from Lynda:

Hi Kerry, just a quick note to say thank you. All of us were absolutely amazed at your fantastic performance. It really made the evening and was the icing on my birthday cake! We spent the whole of breakfast saying HOW DID SHE DO THAT?

I’m very excited as I have recently been asked to perform alongside fabulous magicians Andi Gladwin and Peter Clifford at the Evening of Deception in Cheltenham in February.
This is a four night show which starts on the 22nd February 2012 at the Everyman Theatre.
I don’t normally perform stage magic so I’m working on a brand new act.

Well this is my very first blog, ever.

I’m not normally stuck for words but I’m not quite sure what to tell you about.
